    Hello to everyone,

    Anyone here who applied under smc and lodged their application Henderson office in May 2014.Got CO.

    Anyone know which months file allocating now?

    please share ur experience.

    There is no way to tell. For one thing, every case is different and INZ have to check out every detail about you, with the people they check with varying how fast they reply. For another thing, the number of cases going through a particular office/department isn't even, and if your case happens to be at a busy time, it will spend longer waiting while the COs work the files in rotation.

    Thank you JandM just 1 more question whenever you get second officer does that person always sends you a letter of introduction or its not necessary

    If you mean your original CO leaves, so another CO has to take on your case, quite often that second CO would contact you, but not always, especially if it's near the end of processing. (If you do hear you have a new CO, don't worry - all COs keep a close record of everything they have done, so anyone taking over the case can just take up from where the first one had got to.)

    If you mean the second-person check after your own CO has made a decision, no, they don't. You don't normally have any contact at all with the officer doing the second-person check. If any further points were raised, they would refer them back to your original CO. Sometimes people aren't ever aware their case has gone to second-person checking - they just hear the decision after it's all happened.
