Default Points for Long term skill shortage

I incorrectly claimed bonus points for the Long term skills shortage without noticing the 3 year Exp. at the bottom end. And I have submitted my ITA.
The CO is yet to be assigned. What to do now?
Should I email them before they reach me for it? need suggestions

Without those points, how many do you have?

Taking out the long term skill shortage I will be left with 180.

That's good, because that means you should still have the right to have had your EOI selected - that is, the loss of those points doesn't take you below 140.

I think you should tell them straight away what you have noticed. It's always best if it's the applicant pointing out a problem, not waiting for INZ to pick it up. That way, nobody can say you've tried to deceive them. Any kind of fraud in an application can cause a visa to be denied.

Thanks JandM, I will inform them. Better to tell them before they ask. Really appreciate your time.
    Cheers
