Question: To Withdraw a JSV Visa and RV Application

Dear friends,

I was granted a JSV visa about 2 and a half months ago, and this visa is going to be expired by the end of this month.

Due to my personal reasons, I may want to withdraw the SMC RV application, and will not use this visa.

My question is, should I just leave the visa lapse? Or would it be better for me to contact local CO to withdraw the RV application and/or possibly need to cancel the JSV visa since it is still valid?

Please kindly let me know your advises. Thanks!

It's always good to explain the situation to CO about your personal circumstances and request the best action CO thinks is good for your application .
