Default If a NZ citizen, do you need a visa to holiday in Oz?

Once you are a NZ citizen and have an endorsement in your British passport, is there any need to get an e-visa to go to Oz ?(this is for daughter's school trip)

By the look of this https://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/tra...ew-zealand.htm, the special arrangement for NZ citizens' entry to Australia would only apply to people holding an actual NZ passport.

And it says this in here https://www.immi.gov.au/media/fact-sheets/17nz.htm
People who become New Zealand citizens after their arrival in Australia, or enter on a passport from another country, can apply for an SCV at a departmental office.

Thank you JandM, I think I still need to apply for the eVisitor visa on-line, NZ citizen endorsement or not, because DD will be travelling on her British passport.

That's the message I got, too. Best to be safe. She doesn't need any potential hassle with formalities, and nor does the teacher, of course.
