Hello everyone,

My name is Vanessa and today I have some questions to ask regarding partnership visa, any help would be much appreciated

So i have been living in New Zealand since April 2011. I came to study on a student visa and is currently on a post-study work visa (i graduated yay!) which is going to expire August next year.
Basically, during my study, I met my current boyfriend/partner (He is a New Zealand citizen) we have been in a stable relationship for more than 3 years (since 2011). Because we both lived in dorm so we never technically lived or pay any bills together (which doesn't meet the first criteria of partnership visa, i have learnt that much).
Anyway, he graduated before me and scored himself a job oversea, so we have been in long distance relationship since April 2013 and his contract is going to finish by July 2015. We plan to live together after he returns to NZ, but by then if we make it, we would only be living together for around a month before my work visa expires.
So my question is, which type of partnership visa should i apply to? Would I even be qualified to apply for a partnership visa?

Ps: I'm trying my best to find a job so that I could stay with a work visa but so far, not much hope...
