Default what is the minimum hours of shift a day ?

hi, I would like to know that what is the minimum of working hours (shift) a day as a part-time employee?

In my case roaster is 4 hours, but sometimes employer ask me to finish early as it is less things to do.

I do not want be affected how busy or quite and it should be followed the roaster.

In australia , minimum hours of shift a day is 2 hours (as casual employee) a day.

I want to know there is any law regarding this in NZ (as a part time and casual employee )

Anyone give me the answer please.

    Thank you !

    This:

Suggests that this matter is not covered specifically in legislation, but should be covered by your employment contract. Even if you are part time or casual, there should be a written agreement.

And if you haven't got one of those, perhaps it's time to look for a new employer.

I had a job that was two hours a day It was just what was needed at the organisation and lots of us did it (and still do it).
