Hi there, I will need 2 cars in Christchurch for around 15 days on Feb next year. Are there any suggestions about choosing a car rental company?

Btw, for the same model, would the manual shift car rental be cheaper?

I don't know about now, but when we were renting for our trip round South Island in 2011, we specifically wanted a manual shift car, and there were lots fewer of them available. If I had to guess, I'd think they might be more expensive, not less.
