    Default Police clearance certificate

    Hi All,

I have a question regarding police clearance certificate. For a year, I was travelling to South Korea on a Business VISA for my company. I have travelled 4 times with 10-20 days time gap between each trips. So every time, I got a visa for 90 days, and I have stayed around 85-90 days each trip. To be precisely

    1st trip - 88 days
    2nd trip - 86 days
    3rd trip - 86 days
    4th trip - 87 days

Total - 347 days. There is a minimum of 10-15 days between each trip.

Do I need to apply for a police clearance certificate for South Korea?

    Please advise.

    Thank you.

NO, only the time in country counts. For a temporary visa you only need to provide a PC if you have sent more than 5 years at any time in a country, and for a residence applications more than 12 months in a country in the last 10 years. (347 days is less than 365days/year)

My 2 cents. Apply and have police clearance handy, just in case.
