Working Holiday Visa for NZ job offer

Hi All

I am short of 20 points for SM visa.

In that case can i try for "Working Holiday Visa" and look for the job in NZ?

If you are of Indian nationality, I'm afraid not. WHV are only available for the countries listed here. http://www.immigration.govt.nz/migra...ay/default.htm It's according to agreements between the NZ government and that of the other country.

You could apply for a visitor's visa and look for work while on that. As soon as you get a skilled job offer, you can apply for a temporary work visa, which can be processed quite quickly to allow you to start working as soon as possible, and also for Residence, which will take longer, but which can be being processed while you are already in the job.
