RV approved just in 9 months
Hi All
Just wanted to some share experience.
I applied for RV under SMC in May 2014 but to my surprise, the whole process was so dam quick that I have my IPA in Jan'15.
From the forums it seemed to me that it will take at least 1.5 or more years was not the case for me.

If you don't mind, can you reveal how old are you, do you have a partner, do you have a job offer?

Applied for whole family from offshore and as I am not working in my home country right now.
I don't have a job offer but hoping for the best when I land in.

Hi Farhan,
It happened to me as well . I have submitted all the required documents in April 2012 and received IPA in December 2012. My case was under Shanghai Branch.
(Not working in my home country, no job offer and 140 points).

Good to know.
Seems like Shanghai branch is doing processing of applications much quicker compared to others.
Seems like you a Telecom engineer.
How is the job market for Network Engineer in NZ?
