Hi all,

Hubby was diagnosed with a malignant melanoma in 2002 and the specialist who was dealing with his case has since left practice and is working abroad on mercy ships - we therefore have no records etc.
The GP that we were going to at the time has also since destroyed all records as it is going back 13 years and we have been told that he only keeps his records for a maximum of 10 years.

Hubby has applied for his work visa and it has been referred to MA. The following has come back from our Immigration Officer:

"Your medical certificate has been referred to the Medical Assessor for clearance. The Medical Assessor has now requested further information, they have requested the information below:

· Any available test results, medical reports and operation reports regarding client's melanoma removal"

The question we have is: Are we able to visit our normal GP and is she able to request the necessary blood tests, x-rays etc, clearing him of anything sinister.

This is rather urgent as the Immigration Officer wants feedback by the latest 09th Feb 2015.

Your advice would be much appreciated.
