Another procedural question on the Talent (Accredited Employer) route. That visa is for 30 months and requires, obviously, a job offer from a accredited employer. Also, sensibly, this needs to be for a period of at least 24 months (Work Visa Guide, p.7).

Has anyone experience of a 12 month job offer in this situation? At first glance, I'd assume it's a non-starter, but there may be a way to square the circle. It's maternity cover, and once on the ground in NZ, there's a high probability that she'll be able to secure another role withing the same company (otherwise we wouldn't uproot and move to the other side of the world!).
