Driving licence and P endorsement
Hi guys,
I am going to be transferring my UK license to an NZ license and then filling in a form to get my 6 years driving experience recognised then doing a course for a Passenger endorsement.
Has anyone done any of this before? I also have a bike license i would like to transfer. Is it best to do it all at once?
WIll there be any problems with me doing this on a holiday visa? I will be needing this license in order to get the jobs i want.
Any ehlp would be appreciated
Ben

An English lass we know here in Christchurch has done something similar and is, I think, driving for the flying kiwi at the moment. will try and get in contact with her and see what she says.

It had never occurred to me that we'd have to transfer our bike licenses too. Will have to look into it. Do you think we'll have to take a separate test for motorcycles?

My husband took his bike theory at the same time as his car theory. You have to get a bikers code, like the highway code, and a separate on for the car. Doesn't take long to learn. He managed to read and learn it in less than a week.
You'll have to pay for the two tests, I think it was about $140.
