Smile When applying for working holiday visa

    Hello there again.

My gf(japanese) will be applying for a working holiday visa soon, and I am wondering whether it would be okay for her to tell the officer/immigration that her main intension of coming to live in NZ on a working holiday visa is that so she can stay with me.. of course she will be working but I'm worried that the immigration may reject the application if they find out her intension..? would it matter?

If the 12 months with her in NZ goes well then I would like to sponsor her to be a permanent resident.

    Many thanks as always.

Though the rule of thumb says its better to disclose the intentions but I would (personally) say you can do without explicitly stating about the relationship as well. As you are currently in open relationship and circumstances might change over a period of time - either ways you will be in better position in terms of her visa process.
