Rent Apartment

Hi,

I will move to Wellington Next month and planning to rent apartment. Is it okay to fill in more than 1 application form because we are not sure if the application is accepted or not ? Do you need to pay anything if we cancel the application after it approve by Landlord ?

It's ok to apply but make sure to read the fine prints within the application. Recently we came across one of the application where it was mentioned that if the landlord selects our application then we had the obligation to sign the contract (but this was one of the exceptional application)

You can back-off (without paying anything) as long as the agreement is not signed and if its signed then the process is bit complicated & depends on how well you can negotiate.
