CO set deadline for addtional information

Hi, due to some issues on my partner's qualification, we need to submit an IQA review in which the processing time is 35 workings days and 20 days for fast track. But the CO just gave us 10 days only. What will happen then to our SMC application if the IQA review is not yet done on the deadline set by CO? Please advise. Thanks
