I am not sure if anyone else has mentioned this book - if so, I apologise for not having noticed. I recently read a new book called "The Emotional Challenges of Immigration:: Strategies and stories of those who stayed" by Ellie Baker. ISBN: 047328698X. I ordered it for my Kindle and in the UK it was £5.39. I read it with a view to considering whether I should recommend it to clients who were still at the "will we or won't we" stage. It's based on New Zealand and includes conversations with migrants from all over the world and I thought it very readable. It reminded me of some of the issues I remember facing when I first arrived in NZ. Definitely worth a read!
If it's any help, and you're still unsure, try getting all the decision-makers in the family to separately complete the http://www.workstudylivenewzealand.c...the-plunge.pdf. Then sit down together and compare your answers. Others have told me it helped!
