Possible Redundancy

Hi everyone,

I am in a situation where most likely I will be made redundant from work really soon. I am on a Essentials Skills Visa which expires in 2016 (Christchurch, IT sector). The visa label has my employers name. In the situation of having the work contract terminated, Does INZ gives you a bit of time to look for a new job or do I have to pack and leave the same day my contracts gets terminated ? My 4 years of hard work is on the line here. Really really worried and looking out for help.

Sorry to hear about the possibly problem. If it comes to redundancy, INZ will give you some time to look around for another job. But make sure you keep them informed at the time of exactly what is happening.
