PR processing question

Hi everyone. Just want to ask if anyone here knows how long PR processing normally takes? I mean Resident Visa to Permanent Resident Visa. I lodged my application to Christchurch branch a month ago and still no news from them.

We went to INZ Queen Street office and it was done in about 40 minutes. Most of the details are already in their system so its pretty much straight forward and quick process. Maybe just give them a ring and check.

I spoke to officer yesterday and she said it is on its final checking and I need to wait but she cant tell how long..

is this normal? Its been a month now. Should I be worried?

Not sure what is causing the delay though unless the process has changed in past 3 years. I'd not worry much about it if you have qualified all of their criteria.
