It depends on how long your work visa runs for. If it is for 24 months or longer (or if the present visa and a previous one adds up to at least 24 months), you can use the NZ Health Service on the same basis as NZ nationals. http://www.health.govt.nz/new-zealan...-years-or-more If it is for not that long, then no.
