Brazilian looking for jobs in IT area
Hello guys, I'm new here and sorry if I'm posting this thread in the wrong place.
My name is Ricardo, I am from Brazil and I'm 26 years old. I work as software developer and I have under graduation as software analyst.
I'm planning going to New Zealand searching for better jobs and life quality than here in Brazil, but I can't find many information about salary or if the companies accept hiring people from outside New Zealand.
Thank you very much.
Sorry if I messed up the spelling.

Hello.
Have you found the Immigration NZ website? This needs to become your friend, because you will need to have a visa of some kind in order to be able to work and live in New Zealand. http://www.immigration.govt.nz/migrant/ As you have a professional qualification and experience, you may possibly have enough points to be able to apply directly for Residence under the Skilled Migrant Category (look under Work and live in New Zealand permanently) without a job offer. If it turns out you don't have enough points, you can try for to get a job offer, and apply for one of the temporary work visas to begin with. When you have had a chance to read through all the pages under the different headings, if there is anything you need to ask, please give a link to where you are looking and people will do their best to try to help you.
There are many members of the forum who have managed to get a job offer, but the majority of them have had to take a holiday trip to NZ to meet employers and agents and generally be there for people to get to know them. See this old post for a comment on the situation. http://www.enz.org/forum/showthread....952#post359952

RicardoZambon, you need to make five posts on any thread(s), then the forum will automatically, in 20 minutes or so, switch on your ability to use the Private Messaging system to get in touch with Otaku or any other member to exchange details.
