PR time frame for Auckland

Just wanting a approx time frame it takes for Permanent residency to take within Auckland branches?

Do you plan to drop by at the branch and get the stamping done? If yes, then it can be done in about 45 minutes to 1 hour at their Queenstreet office.

Wow, that's fast. In Wellington it took 3 full weeks for my Residence to PR conversion!!!

This was way back in 2011, I have read couple of recent posts here where it has been taking longer. Not sure if there is some internal process that has changed these days.

From what I've been reading, lately this has been subject to INZ's familiar date-order queues for the clerks' attention due to high workload. I think the best thing would be to phone the office you're thinking of going to to ask how long they think it's taking at the moment to get the sticker.
