Certified copies
Just to let people know that from 6 July 2015 only passports, certificate of identity or birth certificates will need to be certified. Everything else can be a plain copy, so long as it is clear and legible. Translations will still need to be made by official translators.

Hi Karen,
Thanks for taking your time to let us have this quick advance update. Is this true for both NZQA and INZ, ie., for both IQA and ITA? In everything else, what do you include? Kindly let us know.
Regards,

It has no effect on NZQA unless NZQA announce something separately. It only applies to TEMPORARY visas - NOT Residence Visas - sorry I didn't make this clear enough in my last post.
