Hi everyone. My boyfriend applied for an essential skills work visa on 9th June. Today, he received an email from CO raising a couple of concerns which he and his employer need to clarify.
I've read the letter they sent and the issues seem really odd to me, and I wondered if anyone with more experience in immigration could help us make sense of what they want us to send as further evidence and clarification.
It is unclear from your application the exact job title you should have as the Employers Supplementary form shows Assistant Farm Manager, the Employment agreement shows Assistant Farm Manager, however the accompanying copy of the job advertisement shows Assistant Manager 2IC.
Could you please have your employer clarify this for us please?
Could you also please clarify the name of the business you will be working
for us please?
Obviously I understand the final question. His employer has spoken to them already and is writing something to send to them to clarify. From our end, what do we need to next? The letter implies that if we do not submit further evidence, the application will be rejected. What evidence can he send? Or is it just evidence from his employer? He is employed as an assistant farm manager, and I think their concern is that the original job advert was not for his role as it is worded slightly differently!
Thanks so much in advance. I'm trying not to stress out, my boyfriend is pretty chilled about it and I guess it is a minor issue but I really just hoped for no issues and smooth sailing!
