Greetings for all,

I'd like to share my visa timeline.
I started my process in 2014, April with intentions to move to Australia. However, as I have 36 yo, I have lost some points due age, and the only way to get more points it would be with a higher IELTS score, although I was unable to achieve 7 on IELTS.
I got 6.5 and even requesting for test review my score didnt change. I took the Toefl as well but I got the same score (91 means just like 6.5 on ielts)

(I have topped all other categories which would give me more points, like years of experience, years of graduated, and so on).

So after my frustration in this annoying exam, I decide to set sail to a new path.
(my brother in law lives in NZ and my uncle lives in Sydney)

My proccess was kinda easy, but it was very slow.
It took a whole year, reading silently all related posts in this forum.
I would like to thanks you all and specially JandM for his answers and motivation. (despite I haven't posted any message here yet)

I'm from Brazil, working with ICT - Network Security.
My visa grants residency to my wife as well (she didn't include her degree or any points at all, so I bought an ESOL tuition for her)
The branch used for this process was the London branch.

I was unable to find a job offer to help to accelerate my visa.
So I'm flying to Wellington next fortnight and I'm going to rent a house and find a Job. (I'm open to job invitations!

Congratulations! I was also looking at Aus/NZ migration opportunities. But Aus procedures seem complicated and mostly discouraging. I hope that NZ's systems are more accessible.
