Retina Detachment Surgery - Will this stop my dad to apply for Parent category Multiple entry Visa

Dear All


My father went through Retina Detachment surgery. His vision has improved. Diabetics is completely under control.

But im so worried if this would limit him to arrive and live and in NZ on Parent Category Visa with us on long run.

I really don't want to attempt and burn my fingers later. If any of you have come across this earlier..your suggestions would be of great help to me

A4.10.1 here http://www.immigration.govt.nz/opsmanual/46506.htm has the list of conditions which are considered a 'no' for residence. If your father's vision is not as poor as mentioned, his health would not be a bar to his being admitted, it seems.
