    Default Visa Transfer from Expired Passport to New Passport

    Hi,

    I am currently in Melbourne and my passport got expired and I recently secured a job in Wellington. Now I have send my application to VAC Sidney and as per them it would take five working days whereas Immigration NZ says 14 days in total. If someone anyidea how timeit's actually gonna take to transfer my visa from old to new passport ?

    I would go with what INZ states and hope for the processing to complete by VAC's estimate. INZ could be providing you the timeline based on their generous estimates sometimes this is fast and at times could be delayed due to under-staff or some other reason.
