I have received a email from CO stating my assessment is done but she needs the clarification on below details...So anyone here please read the below and tell me how to obtain the letter , whether it is through online via email or do I need to send orginal documents there to IPENZ in new zealand.
CO report
As part of the documentation provided with your application, we received evidence of your Bachelor of Engineering, majoring in Electronics and Instrumentation, form Biju Patnaik University of Technology in India. Accompanying this, we also received a full International Qualifications Assessment from the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NXQA), which confirmed that your qualification was comparable to a New Zealand Bachelor of Engineering Technology degree at Level 7, specialising in Electronics Engineering. While we have been able to award you 50 points for your qualification, unfortunately this assessment does not show that the exact specifications of the LTSSL have been met as it confirms that you hold a Bachelor of Engineering Technology, rather than a Bachelor of Engineering. This is preventing us from awarding bonus points for both your qualification and work experience. These aspects are covered by immigration instructions SM16.20, SM11.10 and SM13.20, all of which have both been attached to the end of this letter for your reference.
What you can do now
In order to address the issue outlined above, you will need to contact the Institute of Professional Engineers New Zealand (IPENZ), to obtain a letter which certifies that the degree you hold and any further learning you have undertaken meets the academic requirements for registration as a Chartered Professional Engineer in New Zealand.
Please note that we have not made a decision on your application at this stage. We invite you to make comments or provide further information in response to our concerns.
