Exclamation Change of office in Partnership Residence Application

Hi, I recently got email from Nz Immigration :

Please be advised of a change in the office that will assess your Partnership Residence application that was lodged by you on 23 June 2015.

Due to an increase in incoming volumes of temporary entry applications, your application has yet to be allocated to an Immigration Officer, and to date no assessment has been made. However your application will no longer be processed at the New Delhi Market Office and has been transferred to the London Area Office for assessment.

Once it is able to be allocated to an Immigration Officer you will be contacted by the London Area Office. It is anticipated that your application will not be allocated to an Immigration Officer until 1 October 2015. If you do not hear from INZ by then, you may write to familyqueuelondon@mbie.govt.nz.
Anyone got such email? Do you think London branch can process it faster than India?

    Thanks.

INZ very commonly move work around between their offices to get things done more efficiently. This happens when they can see that one office has a high volume of work for the number of officials working there, while another office has officials available with much less to do.
