    Question Unabridged marriage certificate

    Hi there


    For what reasons would we need an unabridged marriage certificate to immigrate?

    If that is what INZ are asking for, the reason for providing it is that you won't get your visa unless you do.

    (I've never seen an abridged marriage certificate - my country doesn't issue them. What is left out of an abridged one? That might give a clue to the official reasoning.)
