Cool since its says waived out you are all set. Check your mailbox , if you have an email from Immigration NZ , which assigns you a client number and also lists out all the documents you have to submit the Immigration NZ, on or before 20th Feb 2016.

This is probably a silly question, but it says in the e-mail that one of the documents I need to supply is my passport. I assume this means a copy of my passport?

I am not from the US but did read that for some countries the work visa fees are waived. I wouldn't have guessed US though :-D

If you are to send all your application Supporting documents [ as mentioned in the email you received from NZ Immigration ]at one go, its advisable to send your Original Passport, so that they will put the Visa Sticker on the passport and courier it back to you.

However, if you don't have all of them readily available, and sending them when ever they are available, its advisable to send your copy of your passport first and once you are sure you have submitted all the documents and then in the final stage you will asked to submit your Original passport to put the visa sticker on your passport.

Hope this makes sense.

You will have to send your actual passport. They'll send it back. They have to put the visa inside your passport.

I tried from different PCs with Mozilla and Google Chrome browser and struggled a lot. But when I pressed submit button after long time it said " Quota Full" .
Can anyone tell me when they will publish the limited quota when they will reject few people ? Any idea?

It happens progressively, as they work through the applications and find some who can't give enough evidence to take up their place. Just be ready and keep on trying, even though it says 'full', and when there is a place going, you will be put through to the form.

I am one of the luckiest one who got selected for Silver Fern Visa 2015, Iam in the process of preparing documents, waiting for IQA , please let me know how many days we need to maintain the balance of 4200 NZD in the bank , Also anyone who have completed the process and submitted the docs?
