pet carriers for our dog

Can any members recommend a pet carrier? we have had several quotes ranging from 2600-4600 really seems like 'pull it out of a hat' pricing they all use the same airlines, dog has to have same vet checks etc It's crazy. so recommendations are greatly appreciated.

We used Golden Arrow.
Discuss the quotes with each pet shipper and ask them to explain the differences, go through the quotes very carefully. It may be that they are not offering the same service eg vet costs at all.
It is very expensive and will definitely cost more than your ticket!

Re airlines, they may well not all use the same airline and there can be significant differences in costs.

we are flying out on the 2nd and our dog and cat the 6th dec..we have used golden arrow and we cant rate them high enough,they have taken a load of pressure off us as overwhelmed with othe paper work as in crown relocations who are fantastic to..but you wont regret using golden arrow they make it so easy and stress free.steve/chris and lisa are fantastic..gd luck in your venture,we gona be glad to get off plane and go to our new house and then start the countdown till we pick up our fur babies on the 18th....ps we using QPS qurrintine in takanini and john and Vicky there are fantastic too....hope this helps put your mind at ease
