    Default Priced at $XXX,xxx+GST (if any) ???????

    I'm scoping and pricing a move. I keep seeing +GST(if any) on real estate ads. When is GST applied to real estate purchases? Are there any other land transfer taxes that buyers should be aware of.

    Generally speaking GST applies to commercial properties (eg a farm, if you're looking at rural property). There's a useful fact sheet here:

    There aren't any land transfer taxes.
