Living in Hawkes Bay

Hi all,

We are considering moving to Hastings and quite like to look over Havelock North, although it does seem a little more pricey than other areas.

Can anyone recommend other good areas for a family (free from gang problems etc) and also what areas we should avoid? We'd like to have a nice affordable family home but not too much of a commute into Hastings for school runs etc.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I would recomend having a look at Frimley. Stay away from Flaxmere.

You could say that.
There's Mahora, Mayfair, Parkvale, parts of Raureka & Akina.
