Default Understanding the wording of Visa Conditions

Hi all, my mother got her visa approved, but we are trying to understand what does the "Conditions" on the visa mean. Can someone please help interpreting it?

The visa is multiple entry and it's valid from now through end of year 2016.

    Conditions say:

This visa expires 2 month(s) after each arrival. Stay subject to grant of entry permission. You must leave before visa expiry or face deportation.

Does that mean between now and 2016, my mother can visit New Zealand but each visit, she can only stay up to 2 months then she has to leave, doesn't matter what the visa stamp period might be?
After that, can she go back again or that visa is no longer valid?

Is it an ordinary Visitor's Visa that she applied for? If so, what did she ask for?

Yes, first time and asked for 1 month. But we just want to know what does that conditions section mean as far as the validity of the visa goes.

so its a multiple entry visa and she can arrive as many times as she likes until the end of 2016. On each visit she will be "stamped in" for 2 months. She could stay longer but would need to apply to extend her stay while onshore.
