So my husband and son got the ASH (acceptable standard of health) and should receive their visas by next week.
Me, well, INZ want a Psychiatrist's report, here is what it states:
I have never seen a Psychiatrist or even a Psychologist, is this a normal request?Carlos – Additional information has been requested by the health team as follows:
recent report from a Psychiatrist is required. Please forward a report addressing history (including details of previous hospitalisations), diagnosis, current management, required health care and community services, and prognosis. Please include information about the any restrictions on the applicant's ability to live independently or work, and any risk to self and/or public safety. Please also provide information on any substance abuse/dependence.
I am taking epilitic meds since I had one seizure in October 2011 from withdrawals when I stopped drinking (recovering alcoholic here, just passed my four year mark).
No other medical information was needed.
Now I am stressed, will I be away from my family permantly, my OH starts work on the 18th January 2016 at Sovereign and his contract is very specific.
My trip has been extended by at least 6 weeks.
What do you all think?
Should I abandon the whole process, it has been an arduous four months for us.
