Default Should I provide a police certificate?

    Hi all,

Early next year my partner will apply for a partner sponsored temporary work visa from the Moscow branch. I am a NZ citizen and have lived here all my life and from what I understand they need to see a police certificate from me to show I have no serious charges such as domestic violence etc. At first I thought it would be obvious that I would have to supply this with the visa application, but I have now been told by some people that the CO will get this themselves.

My question is, do I provide the police certificate or not? bearing in mind that we will be applying from the Moscow branch, I'm not even sure if they can request my police certificate from another country??? but then again it is a NZ government agency so maybe they can????

    Thanks!!!

If you are talking a NZ police certificate, then INZ will do that "internally" when you lodge the application.
