UK to NZ Tax advisor

Hi There,
Can anyone recommend a UK or NZ tax advisor that specialises in this area? Particularly in relation to UK Government pensions?

We looked at this last year and were told you could not move them after 1 April 2015. Would be interested if that is not the case.

Hi

UK State pensions cannot be transferred but if you are solely a tax resident of NZ they are taxable only in NZ under the UK/NZ double tax agreement (and not taxable in the UK at all - this applies to all UK sourced pension in similar circumstances and you can apply to have all UK pension paid gross with no tax deducted). There is also a reciprocal arrangement between the UK and NZ whereby you can receive a NZ state pension rather than the UK one.
