Hi there,

anyone from the Philippines here? can you please share your experience on how you change PHP to NZD? Do I need to bring with me USD? or NZD? Peso value change directly to NZD, I think gives our PHP higher value rather than PHP to USD to NZD.

Have you checked pay2home.com. I am using this service for transferring money from SGD to NZD. Their rates look pretty good compared to others in Singapore. Not sure about Philippines though. But they are available in Philippines too.

Just open a bank account in NZ via online. See below links. Then transfer your money via TT from your Philippine Bank (much more cheaper).

Yes, your local bank will convert PHP to NZD and credit it on to NZ bank. But you cannot withdraw the funds once you land in NZ. You need to go to your NZ bank branch to activate your account and withdraw the funds. It takes about 30-45 mins to activate and complete the paper work for your local NZ bank account.
