I sent my ITA to the Shanghai branch last month and I just received an email from them requesting for extra documents regarding mine and my husband's qualifications.
We both have a degree in computer science from an Australian university which is actually in the list of recognized qualifications and universities.
But the whole degree programme was done off-campus in an affiliated college in Malaysia.

Because of that, we have been requested to get a NZQA IQA report for our qualifications in order to proceed with our application.

These are some of the questions that I have :

  1. Do i have to request for 2 IQA reports for both myself and my husband? or is only one enough? since we have the exact same qualifications
  2. i have emailed my old college in Malaysia on this matter. they have informed me that there have been other students who enquired on the same issue. If there have been earlier IQA requests for the same qualification, do i still need to apply for an IQA report?
  3. The college have also told me they could get the Pro-vice Chancellor of South East Asia of the Australian university to write me a letter proving the recognition of my degree gained outside of Australia. Would this be sufficient if I do not apply for the IQA report?

Would be great if you could share with me your experiences if you have been in almost the same situation as me now
Thanks!
