Hi

Myself and my daughter arrive in Tauranga on the 30th and we have never been before so it's a bit scary. I have to find accomodation that can take 2 well behaved dogs and a cat before they fly over but so many places are saying no pets and I'm very worried. I am hoping that my daughter can go to school in Papamoa so guess that area would be best. Am I best just to find agents when I get there?

Have you checked the Trademe web site for rental accomodation or Real Estate companies in the area/s.?

Yes I have but once I arrive I will go into the agents and take it from there.

OMG no rentals here that take pets what can we do, feeling very despondent!

You just have to keep asking. Go to places like pet food suppliers and the SPCA, asking if there's anyone that knows anyone with a rental coming up. The 'no pets' clause is a standard fall-back position, also, and there are plenty of landlords who will accept animals if you offer a larger bond and/or agree to have the place professionally cleaned before you leave.
