    Our family are on the Resident Visa now though we haven't received our passports back. It has been a drama until the last moment. We could not celebrate it last week even when we saw the approved in principle status on the system. Then we got the Resident Visa status just 4 days before our existing work/student visas expired. It was 2 years and a half since I started the quest and I had one resident visa application technically declined behind where I refused to apply for the SMC JSV but instead applied for open work visa so that my family can come with me last year.

    I would like to say thank you everyone, and would express my special thanks to Karen & JandM! You two helped me so much when I struggled the most during the process.
