Hi guys

i've been visiting this forum to look at timelines so here I'm sharing mine as i got approved smc residence visa today:

28/8/15 EOI sent
31/8/15 ITA selected
8/10/15 Application lodged
5/1/16 CO allocated and requested further documents(last 6 months of payslips)
19/2/16 Application approved

It went down a lot faster than I anticipated. mostly because of my LIA.

Congrats and did you lodge it your application with a Job offer/existing Job?

Yes I have a job and also I didn't have to do a medical cause its still within 3 years since the last one and not sure why but i did not have to sit an IELTS exam either. From my experience NZ immigration system is quite relaxed.

Did they ask you for bank statements and IRD tax summary?

When I put together my application I attached about 2,5 years worth of bank statements as proof of earnings from my previous jobs. That was exclusively for my work experience in Australia where I worked as a subcontractor and my tax summary didn't state the source of my earnings so I had to support it with bank statements. And yes for my NZ work experience I attached the IRD tax summary and later on CO requested 6 months of payslips but no bank statements.
