Has your wife seen her own doctor about the iron deficiency? It is likely s/he would want to check out why this has happened in her body. When the medical is referred, the MA is quite likely to ask for a report from the doctor about the reason and prognosis, as well as what the present treatment is doing.

(Nobody's medical is refused just on account of a symptom. But the MA might want to know it is not a sign of something more serious.)

So the MA is likely to ask for a repeat blood test to show her levels after she has followed this course of treatment. She can get this test done, and send it to INZ, linking it with her application details, and the eMedical reference number, and it will catch up with the original medical, so when the MA sees it, s/he will have the new results (what s/he would definitely want to see) already.

We lodged our file on 3rd march and the case officer said the file is being manually referred by immigration medical assessment officer n they said it will take more than 4 weeks we have been calling the contact centre but they say the same. Our visa expires on 30th March n they say we get interim visas but we are not suppose to work on interim visa then it's very hard for us to survive . We applied on the 3rd does any one have an idea when they gonna let us know n Wat they will ask us to do ?? Will they reject our visa stating iron deficiency very tensed she got 9.5 hb n less than six of iron very tensed

Your visa is going to be delayed until the MA has looked at the medical evidence. Iron deficiency is a symptom, not a disease that will get you rejected. However, the MA will probably want to know that your partner has been checked by a doctor and given some treatment, and if any underlying cause has been found. If she hasn't done that yet, she should go to your GP, tell about the tests and ask to be checked over. Then she can ask the doctor to write a report of what has been found, what treatment given, and what he expects to happen to the condition in the next future time. When you have this report, you can send it to INZ, stating all the details of your application and your partner's eMedical number. It will then be forwarded to the MAs. The present medical will now be in a queue waiting for its turn for attention, so the doctor's report will be put with it. With luck, when the MA goes to look at the medical, s/he will find all the answers to what s/he would want to know in the doctor's letter, so this will save wasting time having to get all that done only then, because the MA told you to.

This is the only thing I can think of that will help cut down the time before you can get your visas.

When she went to get Medicals done they said she got iron deficiency n they made an appointment with the doctor n the doctor spoke to her regarding this n told her the intake that she have to eat n also wrote some tablets for iron and vitamin c together and told her to take for 3 months and she is taking everyday and it's been more than 20 days already and she is vegetarian now she started eating lamb , goat n chicken as well. Do u still want us to go to gp n get tests done ?? I'm confused . I cannot wrk on interim as well so tensed now as it expires on 30t h March than you so much for your help

The MA is almost certain to want to know what your wife's condition is after starting some treatment. So seeing another doctor would give the chance to get a letter from him/her to comment on that.

If you do nothing right now, then the following is probably what will happen. Medical in queue to be seen by MA, waiting. MA sees medical. MA tells CO, 'Tell this applicant to see the doctor to get x test done and a doctors report.' CO tells your wife. Your wife makes appointment and waits to see the doctor and get tests. Tests done. Wait for result. Wait for doctor to write report. Send that to CO. CO sends it to the MA. Wait till it is her file's turn to be seen by MA. Then, with luck, the MA will give the ASH reply.

What I suggested can cut out some of that waiting. You have often said you are pressed for time, and this is a chance to try to do that.

You can go to any doctor. And yes, many people do exactly what I just explained, so as to try to cut down the waiting time.
