Default skilled worker or silver fern

    Hi,
I have been searching quite alot on this forum regarding settlement options in new zealand. I just want to apply any visa for NZ which can lead to the residency. I first though to apply for the skilled worker for which i have 115 points but i don't have any job offer. So i think it would be useless to apply without job. Then i thought to apply for the silver fern job search visa but the quota for 2015/2016 is full now. Is there any other way that i can apply for any other residency visa so that i can settle there permanently and do jobs there.
    Any suggestion?

No, not without a job offer.

Many people on the forum have travelled to NZ as a visitor, or on a Working Holiday Visa, and have looked for work from within the country. Upon receiving a skilled job offer, the normal thing is to first apply for a temporary work visa which can be processed quite quickly so they can get a proper start on their working life, alongside their application under SMC, which can be ticking along in the background taking as long as it takes.
