Default advice on medical for working holiday visa (warfarin)

    Hi all 😀
I am British and living in the UK at the moment. I'm taking voluntary redundancy at my place of work to fund a 23 month working holiday in new Zealand. I've had my medical done and done my application online. I've received a email from the nz office saying my medical has been sent to be manual assessed and will take several weeks 😢
I think the problem is (I am 29 now) back in 2013 I had a blood clot (dvt and a pe) and since this day I've been on blood thinners. Ie warfarin. I have regular blood tests about once a month to check my inr (blood thickness ) . I've had no problems since this day back in 2013 . Everything seems to be under control.
I am worrying I will now get refused a visa because of this. And it was my dream to travel all around new Zealand.
Can anyone help that might of had the same experience as me or might of known someone taking warfarin that there visa was successful. ..
Thanks for your time nick 😀

taking a common medication such as warfarin would not lead to a visa refusal on medical grounds. depending what additional information was provided with the medical regarding your INR, you may or may not be asked for more information or a specialist report, before the medicals are cleared.
