Sharing my SMC without job offer
This forum has provided me a lot of useful information for my NZ immigration journey.
Finally I got my AIP and I would like to contribute back to the forum.
Here is the info how I can get 140 points without job offer
My self-assessment
Qualifications
- Master degree
- Qualifications must in future growth areas and absolute skills shortage
Relevant Work Experience
- 10 years working experience
- 6 years working experience in future growth areas and absolute skills shortage
- 6 years working experience in comparable labour market

The biggest challenge I faced during immigration process was obtain the Police Clearance Certificates (PCC).
As I've worked and lived in many countries so I need to obtain all PCCs for those countries I live more than 1 year.
Some countries refuse to provide PCC, so I need to provide a lot evidences (voice records, pictures, salutatory declaration...) to convince Assessment Officer and then Case Officer why not. Even though I got online approved, they still ask for it.
So please try your best to get PCC and avoid 'Salutatory Declaration'.
Good luck for your NZ dream.

Congrats.
If you don't mind, may I know what qualification(s) you have and the job classification you identified yourselves under LTSSL and Future growth areas?
Thanks
