    Default EOI processing speed?

Recently my partner and I are planning to EOI.
But just not sure whether should we do the online EOI or do a paper-based EOI.
We've been told the processing time of Auckland CT branch is more efficient.
If we make a paper-based EOI and drop it over at CT branch, it may end in allocating in CT branch with more chance.
Does it make any sense to your guys?
Personally I think online application should be more efficient than paper ones.

Why would you do a manual EOI? It costs more and you have no direct control over the information input . Onshore workload among branches is carefully managed so it should make no difference who handles your EOI and issues your ITA , particularly around the Auckland offices.Usually your application will be dealt with by the branch closest to where you are living.

It has often happened to people on the forum that their applications have been moved to an INZ office which happened to have most capacity at the time. The applicants have no say whatever in where processing happens.
