    Default Resident Visa Approved - Waiting for next instructions from CO

    How blessed we are to be given the chance to live in this beautiful country. I was overwhelmed how swift the decision was made considering we just stayed in NZ for 4 months before lodging the application.
    Appreciate this forum much for I learned a lot of tips and suggestions during the lodgement of our application.

    ITA Received 15/11/2015
    Application Lodged 12/01/2016
    Online Status changed to 'APPROVED' 30/03/2016

    yes, that's pretty good going. The average time for a SMC application, onshore, from date of lodgement, is 6-9 months.

    Did you received your AIP? Even mine got approved on the same day as urs 19th March, but did not heard anything about my AIP yet.
