IELTS Partner - EOI

Hello,

I would like to know if someone could help me with this question.

I have all my documents and information ready to submit EOI, but we are waiting for the IELTS results for my partner.

If my EOI is selected before we receive his IELTS result, the case officer will accept the results if he get an overall of 5???

I want to avoid the extra money for ESOL (English for speakers of other languages) training ( if possible :S )

If you are wanting to submit the EOI now, you will need to do so, with the information you currently have. i.e you partners English language ability is not yet determined by and IELTS result. You cant answer the question based on what might happen in the future. You may need to indicate that (at this stage) she will pay ESOL.
You can change that when your submit your application after receipt of ITA, by including the IELTS result if its then available, or at a later stage in the application, before its decided.
